The controller that was sent with the item is not a “matching” controller as the listing says it would be. The aftermarket controller has no labeling on it but the buttons are not the original PS2 Dual shock designs and I’m not confident in its reliability compared to the OEM controllers. I feel bad nitpicking like this but for the inflated price of retro consoles, they should specify if it’s not going to be OEM parts because that is a huge part of collector value, and the controllers aren’t cheap, so that’s another $40-$50 I’m going to have to spend if I want a genuine PlayStation controller. On top of that the AV cables that were sent with the PlayStation are broken on the end that goes into the console (separated from the cylinder before the connection). The PlayStation that showed up also has a different cover on one half of the console, which looks nice, but it’s not how I remember them being designed, but one half is gloss and the other is matte.
