Jura Z10 Espresso Machine – Makes Cold Brew & 32 Drink Styles

I really like the machine, my last beloved Saeco lasted 10 years and made ~1300 cups of various drinks (according to the internal digital counter). I usually go for the best so I targeted to Z10. It does more than I will probably ever use, but like to have the options if / when requested. I wish the literature / ads better identified more details on what came with the machine. It does NOT come with a carafe for milk. You can put the rubber (included) hose into a carton of milk, and be fine, but if the volume is low in the carton, you’re in trouble. Maybe spend the $ for the carafe and keep in the fridge if this is your ‘thing’. Don’t buy the flex-steel hose… it’s just more to clean. It does come with the syrup (milk froth) infuser, so don’t buy that until the one that comes with it dies… not sure that it ever will. So… the froth flavor infuser is a nice option, but a bit of a pain— It requires you to fill a small attachment reservoir with syrup… pull the standard pour spout off and attaching this… which seems like a bit of effort (and cleaning). I prefer a direct pump of syrup into the cup…. Your call. Lots of automatic rinsing is standard. You will go through lots of water, but you have a big reservoir to accommodate. I’m somewhat concerned about not having access to the brew group for cleaning. Hope this doesn’t warrant sending in for cleaning. In summary, it’s the top of the line machine, and so far (2 weeks in), I’m happy. There are some amazing fine tuning options, such as the defined ground sizes based on the type of drink, strength (which I did have to dial back), temperature… it’s all subjective and available. Customizable beyond measure. Do the math… IMO, the extras with this and other machines are minimal. The cold brew coffee is probably the threshold. I also feel it’s built well and much quieter than my last machine. Enjoy—
