This is my 2nd pair the first ones lasted me 8 months before the sole wore out and the side split so they were no longer waterproof. The shoes are very comfortable and lightweight with no break in period required. My feet do sweat however and I need to use a foot deodorant with these boots. For the price they are good and I recommend them at about $10 a month they are a bargain even though I wish they would last longer. This is the reason for a 4 star instead of 5
