Great compact rig

Great little radio! The radio is solid. It has the wonderful uniden chasis with good loud audio from the receiver and good transmit audio. The transmit audio is better than I’ve heard on other rigs. This radio makes a good base station. I was able to talk to Hawaii on 4 watts AM! The model PC68 doesn’t include the SWR meter. You’ll have to move up to the PC78 to get that feature. Otherwise, this radio has everything you’ll need. also, the channel display is amber in color and I think that looks good. The microphone cable looks heavy duty like radios had in the 80s and 90s. Thanks for building a microphone cable that will put up with the harsh conditions while mobile Uniden!

PC68LTXFM very good radio the am/fm switch on the front of the radio is a nice feature,Hi Cut adjustment works very well and has good recieve.
