The Jane Austen Box ~ Quarterly Subscription

The high point of this spring box, at least for me, is the petit point box. It is absolutely stunning - a thing of beauty. I am quite fond ot the journal as well. Everything is very nicely done.

This is the most wonderful subscription box you can ever get if you are literary minded. The Spring Box was so beautiful with its satin box, the cover embroidered in petit point with many colored flowers and a delightful blue and white delft egg cup shaped like a hen, just two of the unique carefully chosen surprises for subscribers. These boxes have made every season so very special for me and they surely will for you as well.

I've been getting this box for nearly 4 years now and it's quite nice. I've liked a lot of the things I've gotten, the themes are fun, and the items are generally good quality, plus it's clear that they put a lot of care into selecting the themes and packing the items so it always feels like opening a present. I particularly like the books/games in each box, especially when they expand my knowledge of her world like the Regency Christmas Traditions or can be used to bring more Jane into your life like Gin Austen or Tea With Jane Austen cookbook. The scented candles are also a previous favourite and I look forward to the winter box every year for the Jane Austen christmas cracker! My only complaints are that there can be a good deal of repetition in the items (it feels like every other box has a shawl!) and sometimes the items themselves have little to do with Jane Austen. For example, in the most recent Spring 2026 box, of the seven items in the box, the only one with a direct relation to Austen was a journal with an Emma quote on the cover. Obviously there are only so many things that are directly Jane Austen themed (one can only have so many mugs, tea towels, and engraved spoons lol), and I honestly love and use several of the other items I've gotten through the years (I use the Spode mug [Sp23] and pineapple letter opener [W24] nearly every day and I love trying the new teas!), but it does feel like some boxes are a bit of a stretch and at least a few items in every box should be specifically Austen. Still, the box is a fun treat and I'm glad I found it :)
