Flattering top

Great top that can be worn with lots of different bottoms. I'm an hourglass petite, so I'm always interested in anything that highlights my waist. The gathered detail with detachable pin, along with the asymmetrical hem makes the waist look smaller. The pin is an elegant touch, and I like that it's detachable since I have a number of brooches I can swap out to customize the top. As I get older, I'm not always a fan of sleeveless, but the cut of this is somehow very flattering on my upper arms. The fabric is lovely; it's not matte and thick like a cotton jersey (which often reads as informal), nor is it that super shiny fabric you sometimes get from cheap synthetics. Rather, it's soft and light and feels great on my skin. Finally, I love how this is the right length for me (vs. non-petite sizes I would have to have altered). I hope they do more tops like this for fall.
