If you go by only the provided instructions you'll probably only ever have a 4 star product, but read their FAQs, where they point out this 3-9 cup device is realistically a 1-4 machine, and watch some YouTubes and you'll get the most out of it.
I now make two great flat whites daily by using Oat milk barista, and filling for 6-cups, making ~60 mls coffee for each cup at ~1 bar pressure, then steaming the milk at ~2 bars.
