Fluid Art: Nail Stamping Starter Kit

I was excited to try stamping for the first time, but no matter what I did, the stamp would not pick up the pattern. I suspect the problem is the amount of oil in the stamp. As someone online recommended, I began using paper to pull the oil out of the stamp. But after a day of doing this, the polish still does not adhere. I won’t be giving up, but I think it would be helpful if the company did a better job setting up expectations about what is needed to get the stamp working. Also, I couldn’t get the cuticle guards to stick. On the whole, it was a disappointing birthday gift. 😔
