The SLAM version should be THE go-to, compact headset from Pimax as of right now for anyone that has the money, does not have an existing lighthouse ecosystem, and wants to dive into the best that the VR industry has to offer in 2026. Beyond the logical reasons, getting this headset in either the Lighthouse or SLAM version will yield the cleanest visuals that completely eclipsed my prior VR experience with having only the Oculus Rift. Visual quality at low brightness is still great at even below half, and 110 degrees of FOV is more than enough for me. Nearly 7 years of remembering fresnel rings, screen-door pixels, chromatic abberations, and the weight of a heavy headset is almost completely forgotten, which scares me in that I’m at risk of taking the Dream Air for granted. Look past the marketing noise and heavy-handed criticism in comment sections and reviews of the Dream Air. This headset is far more than worth it to those that place their faith beyond the marginalized.

The Quilty is super worse, i get this headset like 2month now, and i cant even use it niw cause it has some display or concert promble let it can’t functional well, their after sales service isn’t slove the problem as well even i di the everything follow their instructions meanwhile wasting lot time for waiting and useless talk , this expensive price doesn’t fit for the good and experience as well, i ll suggest wait fir the new headset from large scale company like pico and meta
