Splash Deck is fantastic!
The Splash Deck is fantastic, I use mine almost all year. Does what it says and keeps the splash and paddle drips off you while still giving you access to your cockpit below. I put mine on first and slide it up around the front of the cockpit for easy entry and exit. A+++

Just Ok
I feel if you have a more recreational kayak with a generous cockpit opening you'll find use for a splash deck especially during casual warm season calm paddling. But on a more performance orientated kayak with a smaller cockpit maybe not so much. Bracing strap that creates the arch so water does not pool on the top of the deck doesn't seem to work well with a smaller cockpit openings. By time I've enough tension to create the arch there is so much tension that the splash deck just wants to pull itself off. Plus unlike a spray skirt that you wear and moves with you as you enter and exit your boat the splash deck just falls to your feet. Now again with a larger cockpit you might not even have to remove the splash deck to enter and exit your boat but it is kind of a hassle with a smaller cockpit where you have to remove splash deck and keep it orientated. I do like the idea and I do feel it has its place but depends on your boat and paddling preferences. Like I said it's just OK.

Good product
Good fit on my Dagger Axis12 ; keeps the splash out and also a good sun shade that allows air circulation in cockpit
