Osage Orange Handles

Tough Osage handle that a larger axe head feels right at home on! Feels great in the hands and swings like dream!

Good quality hatchet handle! Great wood that didn’t take a ton of effort to hang and finish out!

Very disappointed with the grain orientation of the axe handle. The visual quality of the axe handle is beautiful. However, while hanging the axe, with the gentle taps that are used to set the head onto the fitted handle, the palm swell split. I did not strike the handle too hard and have glued the pieces back together. It makes me question the usability and the longevity of a fairly expensive handle.
