On a trip to upstate NY last fall my mother in law bought us a bottle of Sugar Bob’s smoked maple syrup. What was at first thought of as a novelty (my husband’s name is Bobby) quickly became life changing. As a vegetarian I am constantly looking for a smoky meat replacement flavor in dishes. And this maple syrup delivers without all the chemicals and fake flavors as other alternatives. I used up the entire bottle my MIL purchased in soups, stews, beans, greens, chili, you name it! From now on I will always have a bottle on hand.

I don't do social media. Have ordered Sugar Bobs Smoked Maple for years. And, give it as a gift.

Love this stuff, although I must admit it was an acquired taste. I use it in marinades and tried it in cocktails. I made an Old Fashioned with it and it was pretty good! I like to use it instead of liquid smoke in my beef jerky marinade.
Love your story, my dad was born in Landgrove in 1921.
