Replaces cotton bandanas
I do a lot of walking and hiking with a camera, and in the warm months I perspire a lot. I've always used cotton bandanas to wipe my face and hands, but they saturate quickly, dry slowly and only last a couple years be for they start going threadbare after a lot of washings. I tried the Vala Alta product last year, and I love them - they absorb a lot of moisture, dry relatively quickly, and look like they will hold up a long time. They seem to get softer and more absorbent after several washings (I wash them normally and hang to air dry). I'm very happy with them, and doubt I'll ever use cotton bandanas again.

Great hanky!
Definitely a great handkerchief. Heavier than any cotton hanky I’ve ever owned. A bit stiff. Wondering if they’ll soften up more over time. Would REALLY like to see a 22 inch bandana size. I’d buy them out.

Rough and extra wrinkled
Unfortunately these aren't soft and they get super wrinkled when you wash them. The linen feels rough and isn't comfortable to use as a handkerchief. I also didn't notice a difference in how quickly they dry in my pocket. It's about the same drying time after using as my cotton ones. Given how expensive these were I'm pretty disappointed and I already find myself not using them since they aren't comfortable or useful.
