For precise paddling to dodge obstacles, or for getting from A to B, this is a nice piece of gear. It breaks into small enough pieces to fit into or on the side of a backpack. The weight of this is impressively tiny for its size, and the best part is each fin's angle is independently adjustable. Which is awesome for versatility. Apparently it will even float, and the best part is that the connections between pieces don't have that typical "wiggle" you find in many other paddles. I had to barely touch the water at an angle to steer my raft down a slow river.
