Super Squat Bar

Absolutely well designed Super Squat Bar that evenly distributed the weight and not just heavy on the upper back like the Transformar Bar or Marrs Bar, this Prime SSB is so well designed that the focus will be onto our Quads when squating! A MUST HAVE in every home gym!!

love this bar and its functionality. for the price i was a bit disappointed when it showed up with paint chips in the finish, and prime just sent me some touch up paint to brush on, so that was disappointing. also the sleeves have too deep/wide mill grooves in them which makes sliding plates on and off loud and annoying. if you’re ok with those two issues and can afford it, still a great bar.

This SSB is super comfortable for squats. I am 60 and put in home gym and started progressive weight training in ‘24. Olympic bar was definitely a challenge for neck / back comfort and shoulder flexibility. This bar is perfect, can focus entirely on form and adding reps and weight. Bar took me about 20 minutes to bolt together, as I am “tool” challenged. I snapped a small bolt when I clearly over tightened one of the handle bolts with ratchet, total user error. I emailed Prime at like 1am on a Sunday and at 8am had a reply. They sent 3 new bolts / nuts fedex and I had them that Tuesday. This bar does EXACTLY what my wife and I were looking for. The packaging is excellent, assembly is quick, and service to fix my over zealous ratchet was excellent. Thanks Prime!
