Old Believer Traditional Lestovka (Leather or Glass Bead Prayer Rope; 109 steps)

I now use my Lestovka over my Chotki, its much more convenient. It definitely feels a little flimsy, but thats mostly because I expected it to be thicker. Overall great Lestovka.

Beautifully made

As a long time mechanic, I have reduced sensitivity in my finger tips, which makes Greek prayer ropes hard to use. A lestovka is much easier for me to feel. I am very thankful to see this beautiful Russian tradition being produced in America and spreading across the American Church. Having made Lestovkii in the past, I understand how difficult it is to make them well - and these are well made! The leaves (the triangles) are especially well crafted. The leather is high quality and a good balance between softness and durability. Thank you to the monks for this great work!
