Rampage Series Rear Bumper - Jeep JL

This turned out to be a super accurate design. The bumper fit my frame rails exactly, with just enough clearance to slide in with taps from a rubber mallet. So precise in fact, getting it over the trailer hitch meant you had to turn and twist exactly right. I got to do it twice, as I forgot to drop in the backing plate inside the frame rails the first time. I got this bumper because I rode with a guy who had one in Moab. I thought it looked great, but didn't think I needed one. Well, I slid off a waterfall on an improper line and tore off my stock bumper. It seemed to be a no-brainer to get the bumper that I saw and liked. One thing I didn't realize until after the installation is, there's no accomodation for hanging your license plate. I got to spend a day fabbing a mount on the spare tire carrier. Oversight on my part.
