Were these were the gloves for me?

I was hoping these were the gloves for me. They arrived quickly. Good wool, although a little rough, and leather. The thumb was really long. I was willing to compromise with that because the rest of the fingers fit. But, it was extremely difficult to pull the mitten over the fingers. It was a really tight fit. Once it was in place, it had an odd, out-of-kilter fit that was uncomfortable. Sorry to say, they were returned.
