Pajamas substantially shrunk after first wash/dryer

Love the look and feel but the pajamas shrunk a full size after first wash. Is this unusual or by design?

Watch Out for Shrinkage!

Shrunk so bad after washing they no longer fit. Own more than just one set of Pajamagrams and extremely disappointed in this fabric.

Not with the price - major shrinkage after first wash

Despite following all washing instructions the shirt shrunk significantly. Easily from the ordered XL to close to a M if not smaller. Pants did not shrink at all. Something is wrong with how these garments are produced. Would not buy
