Exceptional tech bag, dodgy strap
Axogrid version (that I prefer) at an exceptional price on sale - very lucky buy. Still good value at full retail. Used for carrying laptop and accessories on a motorcycle and absolutely ideal. Slightly cramped by all the padding and organisation but thatās sort of its point. Provides excellent protection and lots of ways to separating small items of various sizes, just canāt use all the organization all at once. Gives you options. Also turns out to be an excellent āmandbagā when being the tourist. small enough not to feel like hauling luggage and much easier to get into quickly or sit down with than a backpack. Big enough for a water bottle and umbrella etc.; not just a pocket replacement. USB pass-through has turned out to be much more useful than I expected. Gets used frequently to top up my phone when using it for navigation on my bike or walking around. The strap is not my favourite. In fact I use the strap off my Bravo Brief when not on the bike because: 1. It isnāt so stiff and wide that the pad is constantly sticking in my neck; 2. It can be adjusted longer for casual cross body or even just over the shoulder carry; 3. It stays adjusted to where I set it and can be changed pretty easily; 4. It is soft and narrow and flexible enough to mold to me and stay on my shoulder. Suppose that explains most of what I dislike about the strap supplied. Just too stiff and massive to be comfortable with a bag this size and too short for casual carry. It is also cumbersome to adjust because of the multiple buckles and the stiffness of the webbing requiring feeding instead of sliding through. Ironically, this same stiffness makes the strap tend to loosen up as you put it on. When not being worn the strap will protrude through the buckles in loops. When you pick it up again, itās the free end that grabs in the buckle while the loaded end slides through - lengthening the strap. Lucky it is OK at maximum length for me! I do use the original strap on the bike, combined with a stabilising strap to control the bag at speed. Alpakaās expensive stabilizing strap is poor, again way too clunky and complicated for such a simple job and not very secure - buy a cheap oneā¦.. Modified mine to remove the weird top section. Way too long so better summarise. Great materials, shape, size and organisation for carrying a laptop and accessories, or if you just need a stylish bag that is larger than a pocket replacement (remember most large slings cannot accommodate a laptop). If you intend to carry it high and tight, like a messenger bag, the strap is OK but not great. If you want to carry it more like a satchel, get a different strap. Alpaka need to rethink their stability strapā¦ā¦..but that only matters to us few that need one. KEEPING IT.

Great for On the Go Minimal Everyday Use
Excellent sling for daily use, work or travel that requires your laptop, tablet or both. Fits Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (13") w/case and 15" additional laptop together well. When carrying one or the other storage space is good. When carrying both, bulky items thicker than a soda can, space gets more restricted. I use this sling for light work days in office and for poker travel. All compartments make for good separation of carry items, making them easily accessible. The built in charger is great to plug in a large capacity portable charger, leave in the bag and charge from the bag port.

Stylish. lightweight and useful sling bag
I love the style and design of my new Bravo Sling Max bag. Purchased it to use on lighter work days when I don't need my "heavy carry" with the fully loaded backpack. Overall, I'm really pleased with the look and feel of the bag, especially the olive green outer lining with the contrasting bright orange inner lining. There are tons of pockets and really slick features. The bag feels sturdy and well made, and Alpaka did not skimp on the zipper closures. This sling bag was a great value for the price. One thing that's been a minor disappointment is the laptop pocket which claims to fit up to a 14" laptop: for my 13" laptop it's an extremely tight fit into that designated slot with the zippers fully opened and still some brushing-up-against-contact with the zippers (which will scratch my laptop case over time).
