I like the fidlock system. Works well, I never drop a bottle. If you need to carry your bike a lot, then maybe consider a regular water bottle cage. It’s easy to knock the bottle off when you carry the bike on your shoulder.

Helped me salvage my Fidlok investment

I recently purchased a small Fidlock bottle with the straps to mount it to my mountain bike. Nothing wrong with the bottle or mounts, but it just didn't work well for me. Decided to pick up this mount to put on another bike, along with a replacement bottle and moved the mount on the other bottle to this new one. Sounds complex I guess, but end result is I was able to use the modular design to add Fidlock to another bike without as much investment. So kudos to Fidlock for making things interchangeable!
