My boss handed me a FlowZone battery powered back pack sprayer out of the blue. I had a perfectly reliable non-battery powered sprayer that I was happy with. My boss thought I would get better coverage with the new one. I did get better coverage with it. Crank it to the highest setting and it moves the foliage quite a bit. It goes through more material of course, but it does penetrate a canopy very well. Battery life hasn't been an issue. I usually put out 6-9 gallons of whatever in a morning and the battery only goes down one bar out of 6 ( I think ). Charges overnight and works great. I don't know what my boss paid for it but he seems happy with my productivity. The padding on the shoulder pads is as comfortable as I've come across so I'm pretty happy with it, too.
