We (my wife and I) have set out to read through the Apocrypha a couple of times before, only to stop after a few days or a couple of weeks. Sometimes it was just the sheer volume of historical and study material that made it a difficult slog. This product emphasizes the text itself, without the distractions. We are progressing steadily, getting the flavor of the apocryphal books. And everything is superbly readable, as with the rest of the God’s Word translation.
