Kalita Wave 155 Basic Coffee Pour Over Kit - Stainless Steel

The 155 is much smaller than the previous one-cup cones I have used, and there has been a learning curve. I’ve had to adjust the quantity of coffee I use and experiment with the grind. The good news is that I’m now drinking much better coffee, and I’m saving money because I’m using only 20 gr of beans for a large mug. I used to use at least 27 gr. The downside is that it takes a lot longer to produce my morning mug. I have to do many small pours, and that can be a strain on my shoulder. Maybe for a large mug I should’ve gotten the 185.

I moved from using a Keurig type coffee maker to this product and I couldn't be happier. I never knew all the flavor I was missing for one thing. In addition, I don't have to worry about ingesting a lot of plastics. It's a win-win and worth every penny.

This is a lovely way to start my pour over journey. The booklet is helpful to document trials and outcomes and I am pleased not to have to find filters separately. Also the coffee tastes great using simple instructions. I am ver pleased with this product!
