Washburn's Snap-Lock Delrin Shift Bushing | Air-Cooled VW Type 1/2/3, Ghia & Thing | Virgin Delrin (CH01)

First off this thing is bullit proof.. Super high quality! I had some fitment issues but they were easily resolved. It was NOT because of the bushing. We have to remember we are putting these things into a 58 year old VW. Mine is being used in a Manx build so it was kind of a problem with sliding the shift linkage rod through. The weld on it needed to be messaged a bit. Again NOT a bushing issue. Well made item that will not need to be replaced in another 58 years. One thing I did is to polished the linkage where it rides in the bushing. She be smooth as butter! Highly recommend purchase!

I haven’t installed the bushing in my car yet, but the bushing is very well made. The relief cut opposite the split is a great idea to make installation and removal easier. I installed the bushing in the new hanger I need to install in the car. It’s a very good fit. It also removed easily and showed no damage to the tabs that hold it in place after installing and removing it. I’m very impressed with everything I’ve experienced with the bushing so far. I expect it to work fantastic. Very glad I made the purchase.
