Falling apart after 1 week

My son wore these for 3 games and 3 practices in the first week he got them and they are already worn down in some areas. The plastic in the toe is broken off and separating from the shoe (toe about to fall apart) . These weren’t very expensive and he absolutely loves them, but I had hoped they’d at least last a little longer.
