I love the Adrift Shift!
I recently purchased the Adrift Shift Pattern (about two weeks before my wedding, when I realized I needed a straightforward pattern to pair with the gorgeous single yard of embroidered, beaded tulle fabric I had purchased to make my after-party dress with). Since I was on a time crunch (and I trust Gracie's patterns--I have a good track record with them being exactly as promised) I printed out the pattern and after a little bit of pattern Tetris I cut into my good fabric! It all worked out: the dress was a relatively quick sew (despite the hell of sewing with beaded fabric) and I got tons of compliments! It was the perfect pattern for the job, and I would definitely recommend it! I'm looking forward to making another version in a more casual fabric (understatement).

Great pattern
Such a goodie this one. Perfect A-line shape, really lets your fabric shine! Some notes: I found the pattern quite high up on the neck so I might lower the neckline a tad next time. Also I used the narrow shoulder, but that shows my bra straps, so will opt for the wider shoulder next time (although I do have narrow shoulders and need to adjust most patterns for this). I fully lined mine so didn’t use the facings.

Excellent fit.
5 stars for an excellent overall fit (the length, bust darts, and armscye fit me well). An easy and fairly quick sew, too. I'm starting my second Shift dress, but this time I am going to bias the arms instead of the facing. I think I'd like that better. Looking forward to trying your other patterns!
