Guichunji 归春集 Double Layered Ming Dynasty Liling Ao

Absolutely gorgeous, and true to size! I bought size M (bust stated as 96cm) vs my own bust (92cm) and it fit perfectly! The underarm gusset more or less aligns with the bust apex, so I reckon if you order more or less your bust measurement (plus a few cm for ease and/or for a skin layer, e.g., a camisole), it'll fit just fine :))) The red lining is gorgeous, and because the sleeves are a bit long (as they always are), rolling them up a bit gives it a nice pop of red, like I've done so in the photo here. The sleeves are also big and have enough body (due to the double layers) that you could probably store a few small items in them with no problems! Because this top doesn't have pockets... As for wearing the garment, given the mother-and-child buttons around the collar being quite close together, I found that buttoning down to up (rather than working your way down) worked better for me.

I really loved this one! ^^ The fabric is opaque and its texture is thick enough to keep you a bit warm. The buttons are really pretty as well, but the sleeves are very long! Personally, I’m used to these kinds of long sleeves, but it will extend past your hands, so it may be a hassle for some people. Thank you always, Nüwa Hanfu!

I love that it’s double lined! It’s a bright red inside. It’s also fairly thick, and has really nice button closures that feel very fancy! the sleeves are super big as expected, but they were also very long for me. I wish there was an XS, but overall I’m still very happy! I almost wish the fabric had more weight to it? It’s a smooth fabric :)
