Piper Plaid Neutral Rug

Not worth the work

Bought this rug for our baby’s nursery back in Feb but the room was lightly used until he moved into his crib in May. It’s been 2. 5 months of daily treading and I do NOT recommend. Where we stand at his dresser for diaper changes is already showing discoloration and wear. I’ve tried multiple times to vacuum that area more thoroughly and it doesn’t make a difference. Again, his room has only been used 2. 5 months. We have 2 shorthair cats. They walk through his room but don’t hang out/sleep in there. There is no reason I need to be vacuuming that rug twice a week, even before the baby was in the nursery. I’ve now started using a comb to get the hair/debris out easier than running the vacuum over the rug multiple times to pick up everything. I know it’s machine washable, but I didn’t expect to be washing it as often as I wash my sheets, considering I’d have to move furniture to pick it up. Our baby has yet to hang out on the rug and I don’t really know if he will? It’s thinner than I pictured so not much padding plus hair is hard enough to get out, I don’t want to even think about food crumbs/dirt. For this price I am disappointed in the quality and effort it takes. I will not order another rug for my house because every other room is more “lived in” this the nursery so there’s no point to try.

Perfect for Bathroom

This rug is exactly what we were thinking for in our bathroom. Durable enough to get wet and still look great.
