I got an email for a free pair. I had to pay shipping, but, that was cheaper than a new pair even at Walmart. I fell in love as soon as I put them on, and they were super comfy, didn't ride up, or bind.

Decent undies but elastic doesn't last

If I could I'd be giving 3.5 stars. I keep buying these because they are overall quite decent, and I certainly appreciate the organic cotton and l like the colors (though would love some green in the rotation, please!). However, the elastic waistbands really don't hold up all that well. I wash in cold water and air dry exclusively, but even so, within 6 months significant degradation is noticeable. The elastic starts to stretch and lose its spring, and I can see little threads of broken elastic poking out of the elastic band itself. At $20 a pop this is disappointing. I take care of my clothes and am careful not to wash my underwear with heavy clothes, zippers, velcro, etc., but this still occurs. The other thing I'll say is that sizing seems a tad inconsistent. I initially purchased size small, which fit great, but when I bought my second batch, certain colors (particularly peach) felt too tight in size small. I went up to medium, which is quite a difference from the small. They certainly fit, but there's a lot of extra material in the back. It's like instead of one size up it's one and a half.
