As the name implies it's a great premixed base that when paired with reptichip coconut chips and or cypress chips as a mulch layer work well together to maintain and regulate humidity in my enclosures

Makes set up simple

This is great! Saves me time vs. acquiring and mixing DIY ingredients. Easy to use and my clean up crew became established fast, and my springtails are exploding (in a good way) incredibly fast compared to my diy mixes! A great ready to use bio active substrate!
