Almost Great

I recently got the 34/37 Reserve wheelset with DT 350 hubs, to replace an older Easton EA90 set which got slightly damaged. I've put a couple hundred miles on the Reserves so far, and am mostly happy with them. They look good and ride well, spinning up to speed quickly. They're also pretty stable at speed and don't seem to dance around much in the wind, though, fortunately, I haven't had to ride them yet in any seriously gusty conditions. My only complaint is that it seems like the set I got don't have the spokes tensioned quite right on the rear wheel, so there's a bit of creaking under heavy loads, like climbing 10%+ grades. Unfortunately, being in a pretty remote area, it's hard for me to pursue warranty service, so I'll probably just have to take them to a relatively local shop to have the tension checked. Otherwise, I like them a lot, and given DT's reputation for reliable hubs and the lifetime warranty on the rims, I expect to get a lot of great miles out of these wheels.
