A solidly wrapped skull to love

When this ring arrived in the mail, I was frankly surprised by the level of care and thought that had gone into the packaging, as well as the relative refinement of the piece itself. Like so many others, I'm drawn to skulls and momento mori. No problem with pirates and nautical themes, but mainly I'd just liked the skull and crossbones set against the black background within a patterned circle. However, the designed mailer, bonus coin, and box for the ring absolutely added to my satisfaction with the purchase. It's the ring itself that wins, though. It's solid without being a massive weight. The edges are all well-finished, so it feels smooth at all points of contact. Its form factor (thin underside band) does place the fit between true-to-size and slightly larger than size. I anticipated this from other reviews, so I'm completely satisfied with the fit that it offers. I've been wearing it for weeks now and get a little bit happy every time I put it on. I usually take it off when using tools, so can't say yet how well it will take hard knocks, but it doesn't feel delicate or easily marred. If you like the look, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
