WildTop Soft Truck Cap for Jeep Gladiator 2020-Current 5ft Bed (60.3 in)

Love the top, fits very well onto my truck. Installed it just in time for the florida showers, and its completely bone dry in the bed. Glad I decided to look around again before settling on a topper. Next step is finding a good tent to sit on top, for when my girls and I go adventuring next.

Great concept with a couple concerns.

The Wild Top Beast is a great product, Well-made and fairly easy to build and install, though I did have to wait a couple of extra days for replacement parts to be shipped as the ones I received had no holes drilled in them. These things happen. I do have a couple of concerns. First of all, the square stock used to fasten the Wild Top frame to the bed of the Gladiator, is very light and hollow, and not very sturdy. You will actually crush it slightly when tightening the four screws, mounting it to the bedside. I can see myself installing spacers in the future if need be. The rear window panel just comes down to the top of the tail gate. I hoped it would come down a little further, at least the top of the tail gate handle to prevent dust from getting in. I'm hoping the be able to stretch it down further with time. Though my biggest concern is going to be maintaining the canvas. The canvas used is top of the line, there is no question, but as the jeep goes down the road dust and road salt rolls up and covers the rear window panel. It can't be help and this is not a complaint at all. I just want to make sure I will be maintaining this investment the best I can. I can't wash the soft top canvas every time it gets road salt on it, its Wintertime. Wild Top has gone above and beyond in designing a soft top that is light weight, easy to install and doesn't break the bank. Thank you. If you have any suggestions as to the best way to keep road salt and grit from deteriorating the canvas it would be greatly appreciated. I know the instructions gives tips on maintaining the canvas but says nothing about what to do about road salt which is very abrasive. And by the way their customer service is awesome. Happy with product it work great and is the best option out there for soft topper and rack combo. Had a couple snags during install due to a few holes that didn't get drilled and a some missing hardware. Customer Service was great and quickly got it sorted out though. Have 2 design changes i would like to see: 1. Zipper pulls on the inside for people who plan on sleeping in it. Right now you can't open it from the inside if it is zipped all the way closed. 2. I ordered the front window, but it's a pain to open because the bottom velcro to the truck bed and it takes a lot of effort to undo the velcro. I would have liked to see a horizontal zipper on the bottom that zips to a bottom strip that attaches to the bed. That way the front window could be opened without undoing the velcro.
