Beautiful yarn difficult to knit with

When I received this yarn I loved the color and it felt very soft but when I went to knit with it I found it very difficult to work with. If you make a mistake it's impossible to undo some stitches to go back and fix the problem because the fluffy bits just tear up. This is definitely not the kind of yarn I'll be using again for future projects.
