Generation 4 Pro

I wanted a Gen 3 Pro for many years and never got up the nerve to pull the trigger buying the top of the line flagship model. Yes, it's expensive but for a serious knife guy a good investment especially when expensive or rare/discontinued knives need sharpened without ruining them in the process. Luck would have it that they upgraded and redesigned the model I always wanted with the Gen 4 Pro. I had my tax return money I saved so I decided to go ahead with the purchase and finally order one. It's everything you imagined and hoped for as well as much more. This is without a doubt the finest knife sharpener money can buy. I know I will be happy with it and will put it to good use. I've been doing this about 50 years and own over 1,000+ knives. swords, tomahawks and hatchets. I should have done it sooner with the Gen 3 but I feel I did the right thing waiting and getting THIS upgraded unit instead.

This thing doesn’t cost money, it MAKES money!

This thing is just AMAZING! I sharpened EVERY knife in my house (maybe 30 or 40) including everything from edc to kitchen knives! I haven’t had a chance to do serrated blades since I didn’t get the rubber paddles, but I am thinking of getting blank paddles to use an aftermarket rod with it. For now the can lock works GREAT to vice serrated knives in place and just run a rat tail manually. All in all, worth EVERY penny! I even bought Kyle’s book, so I plan on using it to pay itself off & then get a new set of plates.

Very awesome. Waited about a year to pull trigger. Was getting decent at hand sharpening, but it was never perfect. Now..it’s perfect. I have about 20 high end knives. Each one has its own perfect bevel. Super sharp. I just wish they would get dull faster. Have nothing left to sharpen.
