Construction jumbo puzzle

Very cute puzzle, my grandson loved it. On the third time he put it together, one of the pieces began to peel. The picture separated from the piece. We were able to glue it back together, but we were very disappointed and wonder how long it will last because the piece peeled so early in its use.
