the rudder in the pic IS NOT the rudder you get, the one you get is the proper one, i was worried that i would have to modify the steering but did not have to. also it did not come with the rope, again not a big deal because the one on my kayak is fine... sadly the point where the steering wires/cable is a weak point but this second one i did not put the lock ring on and everything works great and i can remove the rudder now to get it in the Toyota Camery without having to open the rear window...
