5 star review…..
Powered my house, except HVAC, during a test run. Worked great. Wasn’t sure how long 10,000 watts and solar panels would last, so I just ordered another 5000 watt battery pack. Better safe than sorry.

Explorer 5000 w/ 500w solar x2
Very good 7500W system to supplement our dual fuel Westinghouse 9500W generator. Zero noise and exhaust give us the ability to leave it in our garage when we connect it to our main box, and the solar recharge provides free power. However, the two 500W solar six-panel groups recharge the unit more slowly than anticipated, even on the brightest sunny summer days. This is probably due to the 30 degree angles of the hinges, which prevent all the panels from access to perpendicular sunlight at the same time. The max input if flat might be close to the 1000W capacity but I get about 650-700W at peak sunlight. I have some workaround ideas on that, but would recommend that Jackery market the Explorer 5000 with a pair of 3-gang 200W panels and the high input connectors for more rapid solar recharge.
I’d also like to see a more powerful system—10 or 12kW—for “whole house” use that can be used through a single 50A connector on an Interlock setup to my main panel. They do offer a 2 unit setup using a transfer switch that can double the 7500W output of the Explorer 5000, but that doesn’t work with my setup.

Thought it was great. It was a plus for powering refrig/freezer. SCE cut-out tract for 8 hrs. Over a month they were doing pole and grid upgrade. I'm working to dump SCE. Rates keep going up.
Does Jackery make cloth covers to breath and keep dust off the grates and fins inside?
