Beautiful dress… but.

Love the dress but couldn’t figure out why it was so much bigger than I thought it would be. I’m 5’3” and 115lbs, I am more square shaped and used to having to get dresses altered. So, I tried it on. Hips were big, which I expected and took it to be altered. After almost $200 for dress alterations, my seamstress told me it’s labeled wrong. The tag on the dress said size 2, but the tag inside the dress was a 4. Should I have checked? Sure. But after spending this type of money on a dress it would be great to know that it’s labeled correctly and that the correct size was sent initially. Outside of the fact my dress now costed me closer to $500… the quality of the dress is amazing. I would recommend getting a stitch or two in the slit because with any big movement or wind you’ll end up flashing everyone. Would totally buy again, but double check the size tag on the dress first.
