Amazing pattern for an adventurous beginner!

I love this pattern. I had just 2 days to make a dress before flying to my brothers wedding and chose this pattern based on other reviews. I hastily put together a toile and then cut up the good fabric. For context I am still a beginner, never having made a fitted piece of clothing before. It turned out beautifully, I got so many compliments. I will be using this pattern in future for sure. I will need to lower the busy a tiny bit but that’s all! Thanks Gracie Steel :)

Cute dress, drafting might be off at the high end of the range

This is a cute dress, it comes together fairly easily and actually with the princess seams and seams in the back is quite easy to fit. I made a size K, while for the most part final garment measurements were as expected, the drafting does seems to suffer from an issue I’ve seen time and time again, which is that at the upper end of the range lengths increase disproportionately to human bodies. The straps were a whooping six inches too long (this placed the neckline well below my breasts). To my surprise, once I removed six inches from the straps, the fit was perfect, the Princess seams etc did not need to be moved suggesting the strap length is growing at the upper end of the range.
