The off grid is perfect. Once connected to your nunchucks or snow series pro the 2 way comms are clear, quick to connect/disconnect, and range is outstanding. Best product out there for mountain comms where cell service is non existent.

Awesome bit of kit!
Easier than the phone on the mountain.
Had 4 'Aleck Off Grids' in our group and it worked really well. Even over some distance.
Use it to chat between cars while driving to the Swiss alps.
