Fun, different fabric ornament

I really like being able to use my own scraps for this ornament. If you've done English Paper Piecing, this is just like that only stiff & 3D. I was happier with the look when I did ladder stitch.

expensive for what it is. I think an appropriate needle should be included and a thimble mentioned. It is not easy to use. Also for the price, 2 gold colored jump rings are included, but it is mentioned that silver rings may be needed instead. It wouldn't have cost much to put both colors in and save the trouble of hunting 2 silver rings up.
