This is the best tasting garlic I have ever grown! It doesn't produce as much as some of the other varieties but it makes it up in flavor. My local farmers market grows this makes garlic sauce out of it and it is my favorite hot sauce EVER!

ONE TOUGH GARLIC

Over the years, I have grown over 35 varieties of garlic. Romanian Red is one of the few that I plant on a regular basis. It is a hardy garlic and the cloves are very large. One thing to remember, a pound of large cloves will not produce as many plants as the smaller clove garlic. That large size is worth it when it's time to clean the cloves.

Yearly Staple in my Garden

I grow this every year and never disappointed. My mother in law won't get garlic anywhere else. Easy to peel, nice flavor!
