Chemistry 2 (Grades 4-6)

Looking forward to the coming year!

We ordered this curriculum for the coming school year. We've used Noeo Science for the last 3 years and love the open and go aspect of this curriculum! I am particularly thankful for the experiment kits!

Chemistry 2

So far Chemistry 2 has been ok. There have been typos in the lab manual where it repeats the first few steps of an experiment again at the end of the experiment (for at least 2 experiments so far) which caused some confusion for us. Some of the experiments have not been successful which has caused frustration for my son. For instance we attempted the experiment where the cork shoots out of the top of the bottle due to the reaction between baking soda and vinegar, but the experiment was unsuccessful even though it was tried several times. There have also been some experiments that are repeats from the previous year which is disappointing as he would like to try something new for a more advanced course. Overall the content seems good and my Son who loves to read has enjoyed the textbook materials (some textbooks we already had from the Noeos Science course we did last year - a bonus for me as it made it more affordable).
