These velvet shoes are so so so pretty! The velvet is very slippery, so I prefer only using them for dance or floor work, not tricks. The fitted toe cover it really nice because it blend in seamlessly & protects the toe of the shoe. Also, it maintains that slippery velvet texture so that you can slide on your toe box. There is less support in the ankle than a PVC or leather boot due to the material, but it’s reinforced inside so it’s not JUST velvet. I only noticed my ankles getting tired after a few months of using them when the material relaxed a bit and there was more space in the ankle. I wish I bought a size down, because I could’ve laces them a bit looser. Right now I have the rings laces to touching, so I can’t compensate for the relaxed fit.
