Heroine Racer Macadamia 2.0

This really is a beautiful helmet. Incredibly light and quiet. Don't be fooled by the small vents, plenty of air comes up from the chin guard, so much so, that I had to wear a buff around my neck to reduce the airflow (it was only 4 degrees)

Love it, the most comfortable helmet, along with my open face Hedon! The quality is superb, and it looks great.

Short version: great service, great products, great folks. Long version: I ordered the Heroine Racer Macadamia 2.0. The helmet is stunning. I have an extremely critical eye and will often do my best to find fault, but I didn't. It was finished very, very well and each component is either made, stitched or fits perfectly. Having owned an obscene number of helmets, I can say with some confidence that this is in the top of its class. Packaging and dust cover are top quality too. No, it isn't a touring helmet, it's not an adv helmet - it's a classic, well made everyday helmet which is what I was looking for. I expected a lot of noise but even this is great...there's a slight whoosh near the articulation points when checking shoulders but this is by no means a problem. Ordered the coffee haze visor. I have used yellow visors in the past as I find the visibility to be better than any other tint and this feels the same. Very impressed. I also messaged the folks and ordered a chin curtain. Again - great quality - cuts an extra bit of noise out and stops my beard whipping around. Some more points on this are below. Some extra service info: I initially got the wrong size and didn't realise they could have sorted that out for me (my fault for not reading the booklet in full), so I ordered another in L and sent the other back for a return. The return/refund was processed quickly. The chin curtain did not come with instructions and I could not work out how it was expected to fit - I had an idea but thought I would check first. I emailed/chatted and this took a wee while before being resolved. If it wasn't for the lengths the folks went to in order to show me how it was done, this would have frustrated me as I'm not a patient man. They took some time out to send me a video of exactly the way they intend for the chin curtain to be used. So my one and only critique would be to include a wee diagram in the box for the chin curtain - I know it's not a current listing but when it is (and it should be) a small instructional would top it off. Overall I'm chuffed to bits with the way all of our transactions and dealings have went. Feel valued, feel like the money spent was worth every penny and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or recommend to a friend. Thanks all at Hedon.
