Material is too stretchy

I always size up in Pleaser Boots so I can wear socks and add extra insoles for more long term comfort. That approach also worked with these boots. My biggest gripe ist the faux leather material. It's the stretchy kind and in my opinion that's entirely unnecessary with these boots since they can be laced as needed from top to bottom. That means no matter how tight you lace them, they won't ever feel that stable. I needed to lace them as tight as possible and at that point they don't really look as flattering anymore. Also, being 6 ft tall, they're not even getting close to being knee high. I hoped with bigger sizes the shaft also gets significantly longer. So ideally these boots would be made of non-stretch faux leather or real leather. It'd also be nice if you get rid of the lace hooks and replace them with holes or D-hooks all the way up. With these hooks you either have to relace them every time you put them on or use some pliers to close the hooks. I love my other Pleasers but sadly this model doesn't really seem thought out.
