This is the first book I’ve read by Elise. I love how she jumps right into the story and lets everything unfold as you go along. She has created great characters that you can’t help but fall in love with.

That stranger, a sweet, soft‑edged photographer trying to rebuild her life, ends up sharing his house… and yes, there’s only one bed. slow‑burn sparks, simmering chemistry, and a surprising amount of vulnerability beneath all that attitude. What makes this story shine is the emotional payoff. The banter is sharp, the attraction is hot, and the feelings hit hard. Lake’s rough edges meet their match in her warmth, and watching them thaw each other is deeply satisfying. If you’re craving a cozy, spicy, feelings‑forward romance with a grumpy hero who falls hard, this one hits the spot.

Love, love it. A great read. This story was definitely a dont want to put down until I finish it. Relatable characters. Totally recommend.
