Saved my Dad’s Save File!

If I could give it more stars I would. My dad passed away when I was a kid and with this I was able to save his almost 30 year old Pokémon Red save file. It really means the world to me. Genuinely. He introduced me to all the nerd stuff I still love today. Great product, super easy to use. I 3D printed a case for it and I forsee getting a lot of use out of it

Worked without any hiccups! What got me to buy this was my copy of red randomly deleting itself. Sucked that I lost my data prior to me getting it but oh well, it’s just a game and it will get me to replay it. Was not going to let that happen to my 100% save of gold though, I would die lol. All that to say, works wonderfully.

Perfect Device

The device itself is extremely slick in its little shell and works perfectly over USB-C on Windows and Steam OS. I was easily able to use the associated software to rip my entire library with no issues. I love the automatic verification and all the other QoL features - it feels so great to consolidate the games I own onto a single flash cart plus enable emulator play. I know the same bits could theoretically be sourced from the high seas, but it is a really fun exercise in game preservation and it feels different for some reason - these are the ones and zeros from MY childhood cartridge, plus all my saves! I was able to backup some extremely sentimental moments from my childhood and allow me to do repairs without fear. Using some patch data available online and the data ripped from a certain pinball cartridge I was even able to enable rumble on my EZ-Flash Omega which really feels like modern magic for this retro hardware. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
